Leslie, this is great advice. I found that I was using a lot of anecdotes or examples rather than stories. That was natural as a consultant because I often know more about the beginning of the story than the end. Unfortunately, I was leaving my audience hanging. Last week, I debuted my first real story — with exposition, conflict, AND resolution. It felt great to give the audience the closure they had been looking for.
