Hi Steve, I think your responses are great. One really effective way of validating people is to be curious and demonstrate that their statements have opened your thinking. In the moment, many people aren’t as able to stay in curiosity mode as you. That’s why I recommend the straight validation statement (to catch you breath) and then moving to curiosity.
