Hi Lori, great question! For me, the best way to lessen the stress and anxiety associated with anything hanging over me is to inspect it. What am I feeling? Where is that feeling coming from? What do I value that feels at risk? It’s counterintuitive, but making space for how I feel about something tends to reduce the hold the emotions have and often yields some insight about what’s beneath the stress that I can actually do something about. It’s a personal thing, so I’d love to hear your thoughts.
